Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Lessons & Activities: Grade 3-5

The activities provided in this resource includes three activities that will engage your students in reflective and creative ways as they learn about American history and civil rights. Through discussion, reflection, and poetry, students will think about and respond to MLK Jr.’s “I have a dream” speech, reflect on ways they can make his dreams come true, and write poetry based on the theme of equality.
